As part of a coordinated effort to manage citywide fire coverage during an ongoing emergency, Truck Company No. 4 has been temporarily reassigned to Harrisburg Bureau of Fire Station 1, commonly known as "The Uptown." This reassignment ensures uninterrupted service while Harrisburg City fire units respond to a significant second-alarm fire.

To further support the city’s fire operations during this critical period, additional coverage is being provided by mutual aid partners, including the Halifax Fire Department and the Dauphin-Middle Paxton Fire Company.

This strategic redeployment demonstrates the strong collaboration among fire departments in the region, ensuring the safety of residents and the continuity of emergency services during large-scale incidents.
